Shawn Michael Scott Craft

Shawn "Buda" Michael Craft 27, formerly of Medway, passed away Sunday October 31, 2021. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 30, 1994, to Jamie Melton & Shawn Craft. Shawn was known by his smile and contagious laugh; he was a loving father to his three children and loved spending time with all his family. Shawn was outdoors all the time fishing, camping and wandering in the wilderness. He is survived by his parents; stepmom, Kendra Dapice; his children, Alisia Craft, Shawn Michael Craft &Troy Craft; sister Harley (Jonathan) Gantt; brother, Chance (Keisha) Craft; half-brother Anthony Nelson; stepsiblings, Cassy Bailey, Shelby Brown, Anthony Dapice; paternal grandparents Jim & Teena Craft; maternal grandfather, Chris Rupert; grandfather Keith Thompson, several nieces, nephews, & cousins. Preceding him in death his maternal grandmother, Sharon Rupert; uncle Donald Melton & cousin Gage Melton. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle. The service to honor Shawn’s life will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11:30 in the funeral home, with burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
