Robin Rene Feathers (Schraeder) peacefully passed away in her home in Fort Myers, Florida on January 26th, 2025. She was born on October 7th,1960 at Dover AFB in Delaware, to Robert and Marjorie Schraeder (Wheeler).
Robin is preceded in death by her Parents, grandson Cameron Vincent-Lee Phelan, brother Tommy Schraeder, and furry family Ace, Smokey-dog, Marley, and Chloe.
Robin grew up in New Carlisle, Ohio, and was a 1978 graduate of Tecumseh High School. She graduated from The International College of Broadcasting in 1996
She married the love of her life; Bob Feathers July 24th, 1996, at Brenda’s Wedding Chapel in Elko, Nevada. Brenda was so enamored with Robin’s new name, that she posted their picture and license on the wall of fame along with other celebrities that were married there.
Robin loved her family and friends. She took pride in her homemaking skills and made the best pumpkin pie ever. Everyone she met recognized her fantastic human qualities and felt her love immediately. She spent the days after moving to Florida, painting shells and sprinkling them on Sanibel, with all the other shell fairies to promote happiness and joy. She loved the Sanibel Shell club and made many great friends there. Beach days were on the agenda often, and she became quite the shell hunter and dolphin spotter.
Robin is survived by her husband of 28 years, Bob Feathers; Daughter, Heather (Jason) Littrell of Troy, Ohio; Son Shaun (Joni) Phelan of Pinellas Park, Florida; Son, Robert (Katrina) Feathers of Las Vegas. Nevada; son Matthew (Megan) Feathers of Shelbyville, Indiana. Grandchildren; Ashley (Nick) Minesinger; Caitlyn (Tyler) Gunter; Nathen Littrell; Carys Phelan; Cory Phelan; Cyler Phelan; Isaiah Feathers; Xavier Feathers; Jacob Grimme; Harlyn Feathers; Leo Feathers; and Maggie Feathers. The new love of her life, Great Grandson Waylon Gunter. Nieces; Tara White, Lindsey Schraeder, Haley Schraeder, Nephew; Trevor Schraeder, and friends that were more like sisters, Bobbie and Jody.
Also remembering her fondly, there are numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins from the Wheeler and Schraeder families.
Robins’ life changed drastically in 2005 with her diagnosis of NMO, she decided life was worth fighting for and became involved with the Guthy- Jackson Foundation in Beverly Hills, California. Victory Jackson was just starting the crusade to find a cure. She attended many symposiums in Los Angeles and Baltimore. Robin participated in research projects and became an advocate to help educate the medical community. The foundation works with pharmaceutical companies and doctors to research new treatments and medicines. The national network of friends she gained was a big part of her life and drive toward recovery. She was relapse free for 16 years, and a model for new patients she met receiving the same diagnostics.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home from 10 am to 12 noon with the service to honor Robin to follow at 12 noon. Burial will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at trostelchapman.com
