Mary L. Kibby

Mary L. Kibby, 68, of Springfield passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 8, 2017. She was born December 14, 1948 in Springfield the daughter of Thomas H. and Jula Eileen (Pollock) Elliott. Mary was a 1968 graduate of Northeastern High School and had been employed at the Market At The Ridge (formerly Howard’s IGA) for the past twenty-eight years. She was a life member of VFW Post 1031 Auxiliary, member of the Elks, enjoyed doing yardwork and trips to the casino, and loved spending time with her grandkids. Mary is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Jack A. Kibby; three children Amy (Martin) Mitchell and Jack J. (Karen) Kibby of Springfield, and Jamie (Stephan) Ulbrich of Dayton; brothers Ed and Allen Elliott of Springfield; sister Doris (Leon) Spradlin of Springfield; five grandchildren Brooke and Megan Kibby, Emily Moore, Ardyn and Lily Mitchell; her mother-in-law Phila Kibby of Winterhaven, FL; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Patricia Jenkins. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Mary’s life will be Friday at 10:00 AM. in the Memorial Home with Rev. Scott Griswold officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
