Kent Knox

Kent Knox, 50, of Cable, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020. He was born June 22, 1970 in Springfield, the son of Joyce E. (Massie) Knox. Kent loved classic cars, especially his prized 1970 Chevelle SS that he entered in multiple car shows. He worked as a Die Engineer for Jefferson Industries Corporation. Kent was loved all over the world, making lifelong friends wherever he traveled for work, especially in Japan, where he had been over 40 times. He is survived by his wife Danelle M. Knox; mother Joyce Knox; children Paul Knox and Brittany Knox; step-children Andrew Pack and Amber Pack; grandchildren Kaiden Knox, Bella Hill and Ariel Hill; nephew Brian Massie; and niece Jessica Massie. Kent is preceded in death by his brother Scott Massie. Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6-8 PM at Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. The funeral service to honor Kent will be Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the memorial home. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
