Gerald W. Mohr

Gerald W. Mohr age 86 of Dayton passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton.  He was born the son of Carl & Loretta (Hentz) Mohr on July 10, 1938, in Dayton, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Marie Mohr in 2013; 2 brothers Jim & Jack Mohr; 2 sisters Mary Mohr & Patricia Goubeaux.  Gerald is survived by his sons Edward (Kelli) Mohr of Kettering & David (Lisa) Mohr of Fairborn; grandchildren Amanda Jones, Kaila (Alan) Graves & Leighton (Emily) Mohr; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews & a host of friends.  Gerald was a loving dad, papaw, & friend.  He will be missed by all of those who love him.  Gerald was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church.  For many years he worked as a custodian at Fairmont High School until his retirement.  In his spare time, he enjoyed going to car shows.  Most of all he loved attending his grandkids’ sporting events & spending quality time with his family.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church 2300 S. Smithville Rd. Dayton, Ohio at 11AM with Rev. Satish Jospeh Celebrant.  A visitation will be held an hour prior to Mass from 10AM – 11AM.  Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
