Frederick A. Breyer, Jr

Frederick A. Breyer, Jr., 80, of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He was born on August 12, 1942, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Frederick, Sr. and Catherine Breyer. Frederick was a lifelong educator, serving as a principal for 40 years and later retiring as Superintendent from Northwestern Local School District. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Frederick was a member of the North Hampton Lions Club and was a past District Governor. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Frances Breyer; sons Frederick A. “Fritz” Breyer III and Mark (Becky) Breyer; brothers Bill (Dee) Breyer, Jim (Laura) Breyer, John (Mary Ann) Breyer and Woody (Nancy) Breyer; sister Mimi (Vance) Tanner; brother-in-law Don Glaser; granddaughters Katie, Sarah and Allie Breyer; numerous nieces and nephews. Frederick is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Frances Glaser and Julie (Bob) Clausing. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 5-8pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
