Eleanor "Rae" Burcham

Eleanor "Rae" Burcham, 86 years old, of New Carlisle passed away peacefully at Southbrook Care Center on November 14, 2021.

Rae was born in Jackson Mississippi to Mary "Eleanor" McElderry and Frances "Mac" McElderry on September 24, 1935.

Rae graduated from Bethel High School in 1953. She married Benjamin Burcham on December 19, 1953.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Ben Burcham as well as brother Micheal McElderry.

She is survived by children

Mark Burcham, Steve (Lois) Burcham, Ron (Mary Esther) Burcham, and Linda Hesskew.

Grandchildren Sara (Chad) Brown, Jason (Alisha) Burcham, Laura Burcham, Nathaan (Ashley) Burcham, Brett (Justin) Weaver, Melissa (Craig) Richards, Cathy (Richard) Dover, Colt (Danielle) Reid , 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.



She is also remembered by her life long friend Eloise Karns.

Rae was an active member of Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene in Medway. She was a patient woman with kind words and love for all. She was a talented gardener and never left a plant behind.
