Carolyn (Cj/Connie) Joyce Hawley

HAWLEY, Carolyn Joyce (aka Connie/CJ) (nee Mercer) age 77 of South Charleston, Ohio passed away at home on June 26, 2018. She was born on June 6, 1941 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Thomas and Edith Mercer (nee Polgar). She is preceded in death by her loving parents and brother Tom. She is survived by her companion of 27 years Phil Florence; sons Billy Ackerman and Scott Ackerman (Kim Morris), grandsons Garrett Ackerman and Josh Duffy; great granddaughter, Jolie; sister Elizabeth Mercer (Jack Scarpuzzi), nieces and nephews Shawn, John, Steve, Diana, and Andrew; greatnieces and nephews Danielle, Hannah, George and Jayden. She loved to cook, garden and read. CJ had a passion and knowledge for antiques that made her well known in the antique community. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2pm until 5pm at her home 9770 S. Charleston Pike, South Charleston, Ohio 45368.
