Robert L. Palmer

Palmer, Robert L., 92 of Springfield passed away April 11, 2018 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on Springfield, Ohio on December 1, 1925, the son of William H. and Bessie Palmer. Bob served his country in the US Army. He retired from General Motors with 33yrs of service. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; children Robert David Palmer, Lauretta K. Messer and Danny and Judy Palmer; granddaughter Lisa Messer; five brothers and sisters. Survivors include his son Rodger Palmer; grandchildren Rodger E. Palmer, Jr., Faith R. Lopez, Charity D. Vanscoy, Terrasina R. Messer, Shela K. Messer, Teddy G. Messer, Robert D. Palmer, Jr. and Christina A. Tillman; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law Pamela A. Palmer; son-in-law Teddy G. Messer; special friends Mary Morris and Pete Travis. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Bob will be Monday at 1:00PM in the Memorial Home with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating.
