James Eugene Kitchen, 79, of Medway, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 10, 2017. He was born March 10, 1938 in Dayton, the son of the late Albert E. and Estella I. (Eck) Kitchen. James retired from Xenia City Schools and was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Oakwood. James was a motorcycle enthusiast, who loved to ride. He is preceded in death by his wife Treva I. Kitchen and son Albert Kitchen. James is survived by his wife of 21 years Ann D. Kitchen; daughter Amy Teague; step-daughter April (Don) Green; step-son Raymond (Victoria) Siegel; grandchildren Shelby and Noah Teague, Elizabeth Bush, Morgan Kitchen, A.J. Kitchen, Jr. and Samuel Siegel; son-in-law Billy Teague; several great-grandchildren. A memorial service to honor James will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Oakwood, family will receive visitors briefly before and after the service.
