Young Im Choi

Young Im Choi, 81, of New Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She was born May 30, 1941, in Seoul, Korea. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Young Im loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching them grow and achieve. She is survived by her sons Young Bok Choi and Young Wan Choi; grandchildren Maria Paparone, Andrew Choi, Patrick Choi, Zachary Choi, Matthew Choi and Hannah Choi; great-grandchildren Frankie, Elijah and Alexander; other relatives and friends. Young Im is preceded in death by her husband Il Son Choi; sisters Anna and Bok Ye; and brother Young Sup. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 6-8pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Carlisle. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.trostelchapman.com .
