News Death Notice

SEAHORN, William A. 83, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2015 at Dayspring, Fairborn, Ohio. He was born June 27, 1932 in Dandridge, Tennessee the son of the late Frank & Louise Seahorn. He worked for Shook Inc. for 19 years and was a member of the Operator's Local 18, Dayton, Ohio. He was a lifelong farmer and John Deere man. He was a FA&M of the Michael L. Finnell Lodge #711, Xenia, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Arlene Seahorn; daughters, Vicky Seahorn, Sue (Bobby) Jones, Deb (Bob) Larsen; sons, Rick (Carol) Harris, Doug (Mary) Harris; fourteen grandchildren, Charity (David) Cornett, Josh Harris, Allen (Tiffanie) Jones, Stephen Jones, Kody Jones, Katie (Richard) Hiltibran, Shane (Heidi) Harris, Beth (Josh) Smith, Jeremy (Lisa) Larsen, Kelly (Derek) Johnson, Coral (Dean) Breidenbach, Maddie Van Doesburg, Robbie Leamman, Lori Gibson; seventeen great grandchildren; Aiden, Reese, Emily, Elly, Liam, Alanna, Ali, Olivia, Austin, Kylie, Gunner, Riley, Adler, Madison, Colin, Sophia, Austin; one great great-granddaughter, Eve; special friends, Jerry (Sandy) McMahan, Cindy (Tim) Snapp and "Casey Boy"; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Quarles; family friend, Martha Maxson. Visitation will be 11-12 PM Monday, September 14, 2015 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 12 noon in the funeral home.
