William R. Bray

William R. Bray, 65, of New Carlisle, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 2, 1951 in Carlisle, OH, the son of the late Clayton Bray and Shirley Howell. Bill loved to ride his Harley with his brothers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving in Vietnam. Bill enjoyed cooking for his family and was a talented barber and bricklayer. He is survived by his wife of 12 years Elizabeth; son Billy Bray; daughters Angela (Rodney) Griffin and Nikki (Michael) Paxton; step-son Jim (Mindy) Spicer; step-daughter Janice Johnson; brothers David (Sharon) Bray and Donnie (Cary) Bray; sisters Wilma (Jim) Kriebel and Sula Debord; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; special niece Telisha Morris; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; step-father Jack Howell; brothers Doyle and Danny Bray; sisters Cheryl Shake and LouEllen Newport; and son Mikey Bray.
