Fitch, Wilbur, 79 of Springfield passed away July 2, 2017 in his residence. He was born in Paintsville, KY in 1937, the son of William and Vesta Fitch. Wilbur retired from Ryder Trucking as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of H.S. Kissell Lodge #674 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Shrine, Springfield Clark Shrine Club and Union Club. He loved traveling, history and fishing. He was known as a tinkerer and outdoorsman. Wilbur always had the time to help someone. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Marsha Rambo; brothers Eugene and Willard Fitch. Survivors include his children Creig (Jenny) Fitch and Paula (Joseph Benson, Sr.) Fitch; sister Darlene Nelson; Judy Fitch; grandchildren Justin Koehler and Talise Owens; great-grandchildren Caden, Jazzlyn, Zariana, Kain and Zavier. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with masonic services at 7:30PM. Services to honor Wilbur will be Saturday at 10:30AM in the Memorial Home with Orbie Estep officiating. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
