Wendell L. Ross

Wendell L. Ross, 78 of Springfield died October 4, 2016 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Flat Gap, KY on May 18, 1938, the son of Harry and Tera Ross. Wendell retired from construction from Labor Local 1410 and 216. He served his country in the US Army. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and helping others. But his greatest love was his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sandra J. Ross in 1997; two sisters Gerdene Thomas and Gaethel Ross. Survivors include his daughter Melissa Ross; son Eric (Melissa) Ross; sister Judy (Terry) Cline; brothers Bobby Ross and Stanley (Karen) Ross; three grandchildren Malerie and Marlee Ross and Peyton Fife; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A service to honor Wendell will begin at 11:00AM Monday in the Memorial Home with Rev. Robert Oliver officiating.
