Virginia Elaine "Ginny" Ray

Virginia Elaine “Ginny” Ray age, 65 of Springfield passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Springfield Regional Medical Center.  Ginny was born the daughter of Robert E. & Frances (Worthington) Biles on September 15, 1957, in Springfield, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bob, & Barry Biles.  Ginny is survived by her beloved sons David (Olyvia) Ray of North Carolina, & Alex (Sally) Ray of Indiana; brothers Jim Biles, Laddie (Barb) Biles, & Steve Biles; sister Cris (Kenny) Leach; grandchildren Addyson, Grayson, Emyrson, Carsen, Darcy, & Brenna; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Ginny was a loving mother, mimi, sister, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  For over 32 years Ginny worked at Huntington Bank, where she touched many lives in our community.  In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to see her kids & grandkids.  She looked forward to the holiday season, which gave her an excuse to make her famous Mississippi Mud  for her family.  Most of all she enjoyed being a mimi & spoiling her grandkids.  A gathering of family & friends will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E.
