News Death Notice

MONTGOMERY, Virginia Belle 77, of Springfield passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015. She was born March 24, 1938 in Marietta, OH, the daughter of Brady Sanford and Ester Mae Spicer. Virginia had retired from Community Hospital where she worked in housekeeping. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward L. Montgomery, Sr., who she married June 13, 1953; a son Jeff Montgomery; and a brother Harold Spicer. She is survived by her daughter Kim (Robert) Cave; sons Terry M. Montgomery, Edward L. "Butch" (Connie) Montgomery, Jr. and Jay (Pamela) Montgomery; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services to honor Virginia will be Thursday at 11:00 AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with visitation beginning one hour prior to services.
