News Death Notice

HAMM, Viola "Jean" 85 of Springfield died October 14, 2015 in Villa of Springfield. She was born in Piketon, Ohio on October 31, 1929, the daughter of Lewis and Rosetta Radabaugh. Jean retired from the Mueller Residential Center. Her most important accomplishment was her family and she loved spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James A. Hamm; sister Louise Days and brothers Ernie, Calvin and James Radabaugh. Survivors include her daughters Shirley Randenburg, Debra (Thomas) LaFollette and Brenda (Ed) Haman; sons Richard (Patricia) Hamm and Douglas Hamm; daughter in law Lynn Hamm; grandchildren Eric Beason, Trina Rumpel, Rebecca Burns, Craig LaFollette, Sarah LaFollotte, Nicholas Mattimore, Scott Mattimore, Katie Haman, Kayla Haman. Kenton Haman, Michael Haman, Katherine Hamm, Ryan Hamm, Stephanie Hamm, Alexis Edwards, Kyle Hamm and Rohama Jean Hamm; great grandchildren Amanda, Emma, Amy, Brock, Carly, Nevaeh, Gavin, Amelia, Piper, Keira, Konnor, Isaiah, Kameron, Zander and Zev; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Jean will be Monday at 1:00PM in the Memorial Home with Pastor Andrew Jit of First Christian Church officiating. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions are requested to the Clark Memorial Home 106 Kewbury Springfield, Ohio 45502 or the donor's favorite charity.
