Vesta M. Detty

Vesta M. Detty, 94, of Springfield went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 24, 2017. She was born July 12, 1923 in Shreveport, LA. the daughter of Omar and Louise Evans. Vesta had worked most of her life as a private duty Nurse’s Aid. She is survived by three children David (Sylvia) Detty of Royal Oak, MI, Douglas (Margaret) Detty of Springfield and Mary K. (Jerry) Perry of South Charleston; daughter-in-law Patti Detty of Union, OH; ten grandchildren Diane, Michael, Jennifer, Kelly, Jason, Brandi, John, Jessica, Abagail and Caleb; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Detty and son Marcus W. Detty. Vesta will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held.
