Valerie Jo Moore

Valerie Jo Moore age 69 of Springfield, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton while surrounded by her loving family.  Valerie was born on May 27, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Mary Roesch.  Valerie is survived by her loving husband Michael Moore of 35 years; son Jayson (Tracy) Moore of California; daughter Lyndsey (Joseph) Mitch of Springfield; sister in laws Kimberly Kelsey, & Lorrie (Geoff) Harding; grandsons Carter, & Mason Mitch; numerous nieces, nephews, church family, & a host of friends.  Valerie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Valerie was a longtime member of Hillside Ave Church of God where she enjoyed singing in the choir & serving in the children’s ministry       .  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, hiking, & most of all spending quality time with her family.  Friends & family may call on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 11AM -12PM at Hillside Ave Church of God 2021 Hillside Ave. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 12PM with Pastor Gordon Garrett officiating.  Interment to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
