News Death Notice

HAYS, Tyler Joe 32, of Fairborn, passed away unexpectedly in his mom's house on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Springfield, Ohio. Tyler is survived by his mom, Cindy (Littler) Michael of Springfield, his dad, Bill (Stacia) Hays of Springfield, his brother, Gabriel (Amanda) Hays of Englewood, Ohio and his sister, Sarah Bailey of Springfield. Additionally he has beloved nieces and nephews, Hannah, Bethanne, and Christian Bailey and Caleb Hays. There are also many surviving cousins, aunts, and uncles. He also had a soft spot for animals and had a beloved pet, a Chihuahua mix named Linus whom he spoiled. Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio he was a graduate of Northeastern High School and attended Clark State Community College. Tyler performed in Jesus Christ Superstar with his brother-in-law, and also in West Side Story and the Nutcracker. Tyler enjoyed patronizing musicals such as Rocky Horror Picture Show, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and many more - even attending a few on Broadway. He also met Marilyn Manson face to face. A self-taught musician, Tyler loved to compose music on his keyboard and has made a few beautiful compositions. Tyler was a beautiful soul, taken too young, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in his passing by his brother-in-law, Donnis (Don) A.D. Bailey, his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Loretta Littler, and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Marcella Hays. There will be no service pending cremation. Arrangements are being provided by Richards, Raff and Dunbar Memorial Home located at 838 E. High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Condolences may be sent in care of his sister, Sarah Bailey, P.O.
