Meek, Treva "Maggie" 87, Springfield,peacefully departed this life to be withher belovedLord on October 23, 2021, in her residence. She was born in West Jefferson, Ohio on April 12, 1934.Daughterof the late Alva and Hazel Bussard, Sr.Trevawas a proudand dedicatedmember of the International Pentecostal Church of Christ for the past 53 years,making her the oldest living member/matriarch at the church. Treva was known for her exceptional heart to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christto whomever she came in contact with, as well as her genuine love for God. Until a few months prior to Treva’s passing she was an active disciple, daily distributing encouraging literature, and talking with others about a personal relationship with the Creator. She was preceded in death by her husband Otto Earl Meek on July 17, 2009; brothers Alva Bussard Jr., John Bussard and Larry Bussard; and sisters Mabel Bussard, Sara Simpkins, Patricia Ferguson, Martha Hall, Virgie Braithwaite, Betty McKenzie and Donna Hall. Survivors include her daughters Cindy (John) Miller and Becky Norton; grandchildren Matthew (Kelly) Sheeley, Dwayne Norton, Justin Norton and Nathan Norton; brothers Ernie (Rita) Bussard and Carl (Rose) Bussard;and severallovingnieces and nephews. Services to honorTrevawill be Wednesday at Noon at the International Pentecostal Church of Christ with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Family and friends may call beginning at 11:00AM. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Hospices 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
