Tony Ray Tracey

Tony Ray Tracey age 46 of Springfield passed away unexpectedly while working in Michigan on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.  Tony was born the son of Robert Ackley Jr. & Cathy Tracey on May 5, 1977, in Springfield, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his dad; maternal grandmother Rose Tracey; uncles David Jacks & Danny Herring; cousin Travis Tracey.  Tony is survived by his mom Cathy Tracey - Ackley; fiancé Mandy Hall; sons Royalty Jones, & Anthony Kitchen; daughters Desiree Tracey, Danesha Jones, & Makayla Jones; brothers Robert Arnold, & Paul Arnold; sisters Hazel Arnold, Linda Arnold, & Nellie Arnold; granddaughter Kyah; special aunts & uncles Shirley & “Lil” Bob Tarbutton, Noreen Herring, & Terry Tracey; special friend Esteban Reyes; several nieces, nephews, cousins, & a host of friends.  Tony was a loving dad, son, fiancé, grandpa, & friend.  He will be missed by all of those who love him.  From an early age Tony was a climber, climbing would eventually become his career working as a tree guy & was known as one of the best tree climbers in the area for many years.  In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with family to Myrtle Beach, Daytona Beach, & to Indian Lake.  Even while on vacation he was always talking about trees, & on one vacation he secured a job trimming a tree next to their Airbnb.  Tony was “happy go lucky” & never knew a stranger.  Friends and Family may call on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 11AM-12PM at RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E.
