Timothy S. Deaton 69, of Dayton, formerly of Christiansburg, was called home on April 8, 2024. He was born in Piqua, Ohio on April 29, 1954 to the late Harold Harrison Deaton & Laura Lola (Lewis) Deaton. Tim grew up in a home filled with music and loved music his whole life. He loved to sing and play guitar. His family and friends have many fond memories of singing around a bonfire and riding his Norton Motorcycle with his buddies. Tim had many friends that knew him from childhood and those that didn’t felt like they did. He was a devoted husband, father & grandfather. Tim enjoyed studying his Bible, loved the Lord, and making people laugh. Tim is survived by his wife of 35 years Barbara S. (Ridenour) Deaton; sons, Jason (Amy Jo) Deaton, Jeremy (Kelley) Deaton, Timothy E. Deaton & Lucas (Candice) Deaton; nine grandchildren & three great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Bollinger; special aunt Flossie Ferguson and many other relatives and friends. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Max Deaton & David Morris. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home from 12 noon to 1 pm with the service to follow at 1pm with Pastor Randy Warner presiding.
