Timothy James Adams, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the age of 80, following 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Born on November 18, 1944, in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Harold O. and Naomi L. Adams, Tim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Adams.
Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Peggy Rogers Adams and his three sons, Jeffrey (Karen), Christopher (Gwynne), and Scott (Laurel); and his cherished grandchildren, Bruce, Stephen, Tyler (Bethany), Jenna, Emily, Matthew, Corryn, and Owen. He also leaves behind his sister, Janet Adams Quesinberry, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Tim spent his career servicing overhead cranes and hoist retiring from Mt Clemens Crane 2007. In his younger days, Tim enjoyed driving fast cars with friends. He was a lover of camping and travel, and regularly documented his adventures through photos and videos. In his retirement years he moved to Avon Park, Florida with his wife Peggy, where he filled his days walking, remodeling his home, playing shuffleboard, and playing cards with friends.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the compassionate team at Calhoun Medical Care Facility in Battle Creek, Michigan. Their exceptional care and love for Tim during his time there were invaluable.
A Living Memorial Service celebrating Tim's life will be held on Thursday January 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Springfield, Ohio.
