Thomas "Tommy" H. Hopkins "Hotrod"

37, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away May 23, 2016. He was born September 15, 1978 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Tom (Kathy) Hopkins and the late Melissa Breslin-Kinnaird. He graduated from JVS in heating and air conditioning, and received his diploma from Tecumseh High School. He enjoyed playing basketball and football. Tommy is finally free and no longer in pain from his long battle of addiction. He is survived by his father Tom Hopkins and step-mom Kathy Hopkins; sisters, Danielle Breslin-Hall and Anessa Kinnaird both of Springfield; five nieces, Courtney, Melissa, Cierra, Sara, and Sophia; numerous cousins, aunts & uncles, one very special aunt, Tammie. He is preceded in death by his mother Melissa Breslin-Kinnaird; grandpa, Hoover Hopkins; grandma, Barbara Breslin, grandma, Geneva Streichert and uncle Larry Hopkins. He will be greatly missed and live in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held from 12-2 PM on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral service at 2 PM in the funeral home.
