Thomas Stonerock, 91, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. He was born July 7, 1925 in Ross County, OH the son of John Wesley and Ethel (Simpson) Stonerock. Tom was the owner/operator of Tom’s Auto Service for over twenty years, then joined his son David in the founding and operation of Stonerock Corporation, until his retirement in 1997. Tom was a member of East High Street Church of Christ. He is survived by four children Roger (Mary) Stonerock of Buffalo, MO, David (Peggy) Stonerock and Gregory (Theresa) Stonerock of Springfield, and Michele Stonerock of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren Debbie (David) Cotrel, Richard Stonerock and Kellie (Mark) Coe; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Stonerock in 2008; grandson Tony Stonerock, and great granddaughter Ashley Stonerock. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Tom’s life will be Saturday at 10:00 AM. in the Memorial Home with Phil Grear officiating.
