Theresa Louann Bachelor

Theresa L. Bachelor (Terri), age 75, of Tipp City, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2024. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 13, 1948, to the late Thomas and Juanita Grigsby. In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by her husband, Steven; sister-in-law, Toni Goodwin (Frank); and brother-in-law, Rick Bachelor.

Terri is survived by her daughter, Angi (Dennis) Dussia; grandchildren: David, Dylan, Nicole, Heather, and Chelsea; great grandchildren: Caden, Brody, Zoey, Brayden, Hadley, Ethan, Cory, Mac, and Pruitt; siblings: Pat (Gary) Ladd, Sharon (Art) Fraas, James Grigsby, Joyce (Tony) Shawler, Debbie (Butch) Dobson, and Rick (Ellen) Grigsby; sister-in-law, Jeanette Bachelor; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Terri was a graduate of Northridge High School, class of 1967. After high school she attended Sinclair Community College where she received her associate’s degree. Terri and her husband, Steven, were members of the Vandalia Baptist Temple where they were active with the Youth Group.  One of her fondest memories was the mission’s trip they took to Italy. She also loved to travel with her sisters and spending time with her grandkids.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Road, Vandalia, Ohio 45377. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 11:00am. Terri will be laid to rest next to her husband at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio.
