Theodore L. Lewis

LEWIS, Theodore L., 82, better known to family and friends as Pop and Ted to all who knew him, crossed over to the other side and was met by his Savior Jesus on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Born to Harold and Marjorie (Bowers) Lewis on May 27,1942 in Dayton, Ohio. He leaves behind his soulmate his wife Carol (Minshall) Lewis, whom he married on June 24, 1965, in Sulphur Grove, Ohio; son Tab and daughter-in-law Debbie; daughter Tia Mumma and son-in-law Jeff; his grandchildren Amber (Andy) Lahtinen, Taylor Mumma, Bailer Mumma, Austin (Kate) Lewis, Easton Lewis, and Katie Moebius; and great-grandchildren Lilyanna and Jude Lahtinen. He retired from General Motors as a Lab Technician after 35 years of service. He also cut grass for Castle Hill Golf Course, which he loved to do. He loved his family dearly and was often seen at the sporting events that his grandchildren participated in. Ted loved to golf and any chance he got he was out on the greens with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and always had a kind word for everyone who met him. Visitation will be Friday, Dec 6, 2024, from 11 am-1pm with the service at 1PM at Living Word Church for friends and family, 926 E. National Rd, Vandalia, OH 45377. Burial will be in Medway Cemetery, Medway, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dayton Dream Center, 2720 E 3rd St. Dayton, Ohio 45403, www.daytondreamcenter.org.
