HATFIELD, Sue Ann E.

Age 82, of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Sunday, January 15, 2023; exactly six years to the date her husband and soul mate, Arthur (Shotgun) Hatfield passed.  She is preceded in death by parents Gwen and Leo Linniman, her husband, and three siblings. She is survived by her loving children Lisa (Dan) Blakely, Bryan Hatfield, and Sharon (Joel) Cain; grandchildren Cierra Arrington, Kyle Blakely, Wesley Cain, Kaleb Blakely, Brandon Blakely, Reilly Cain and Brittany Blakely; nine great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, and her loyal dog Gracie. We all have always thought of our mother as our angel on earth, always putting her family first in everything.  She was a steadfast guardian of her family from her earliest years until her dying day, deriving the utmost satisfaction from serving others.  Her time on earth with us was precious and her departure will leave a void that cannot be filled.  However, we rejoice that her suffering was short and she is now at peace with our Lord. A graveside service to honor Sue Ann will be Wednesday at 2:30 PM in New Carlisle Cemetery with the funeral procession leaving Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home at 2:15 PM.
