Stella M. Brown

Stella M. Brown, 90, of Moorefield Township, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Springfield. She was born October 24, 1924 at home on Bracken Ridge, Monroe County, Ohio the daughter of the late Ambrose & Gertrude (Wahl) Biedenbach. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Ann (Dean) Maxwell, Lucille (Pete) Huffman, Phyllis (Denver) Schell; a brother, Paul (Dorothy) Biedenbach. She retired after 30 years of service at the Post Office, Medway, Ohio. Stella and her family were members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Carlisle from 1952 to the present. She was the music director and organist at Sacred Heart for many years. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Blair M. Brown; children, Thomas (Marian), William (Jana), Michael (Ann), Patrick (Joyce), Gregory (Maria); thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 AM Monday in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father John MacQuarry officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
