Shirley Ann Thompson

Shirley Ann Thompson (Shirk) age 79, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She was born October 24, 1945 in Springfield Ohio, the Daughter of Gordon and Emma (Ogden) Shirk.

Shirley is survived by her sons: Jacob Thompson and Craig (Joanne) Thompson; grandchildren: Starla Pinks, Diana (Jason) Whilding, Sarah (Dan) Zwiesler, Teresa Thompson, Andrea (Chris) Holbrook, Laura (Josh) Thompson, Matthew (Charleen) Thompson; and several other valuable family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Thompson; her parents, Gordon and Emma Shirk, and her grandson, Nickolas Thompson. Shirley was a remarkable woman and will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held on Wednedsday, December 4, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Richards, Raff, and Dunbar Memorial Home,  838 E. High Street, Springfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm. Shirley will be laid to rest with her husband, Stanley, at Rose Hill Burial Park.
