82, of Medway, Ohio passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. She was born March 20, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Rexford & Ruth (Freeland) Beatty. Her great love was her family, nothing mattered more. She was the leader of our family, the one who brought everyone together for all occasions and will be missed greatly. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always put others before herself. She has many lifelong friends, including several co-workers (Bingo Buddies). Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life and the most coveted and controversial title is "I'm Mema's favorite". You couldn't leave her house without hearing "you don't have to be in a hurry". She is survived by her children; Sally & Bob Swearingen, Donna & Roger Diller, Jerry & Kim Patton, Carla & Mike Harrison; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; a brother, Danny & Janie Beatty; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Patton, Carl Helfinstine & Richard Seaman; a son, John D. Patton; a grandson, John E. Patton; a brother, Alan D. Beatty. Visitation will be 10 AM – 1 PM Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 1 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
