Sheila Z. Payne

Sheila Z. Payne age 77 of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Springfield Regional Medical Center.  She was born the daughter of U.V. & Jenny (Puryear) Lester on July 26, 1947 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  Sheila is survived by her loving daughters Rhonda (Richard) Scott of Springfield & Angie (Kevin) Bailey of Arkansas; son Duane Payne of Kansas; grandchildren Duey, Ethan, Marina, & Riley; great grandchildren Mason, Molly, Cooper &  one on the way.  For many years Sheila worked as a hairdresser.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading, working puzzles, & drinking Miller Lite.  Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her family.  Sheila was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Arrangements entrusted to RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
