Ryan Guard Bowen

Ryan Guard Bowen, 40, of New Carlisle passed away on April 14, 2024. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 29, 1983, to the late Danny & Sarah Bowen. He was a 2001 graduate of Tecumseh High School and joined the Army after graduation. Ryan was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, 3rd Infantry Division, he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his time of service in Iraq. He loved animals, especially his dog, Nella, his best friend. Ryan also enjoyed spending time with his friends on the golf course or lifting in the gym. He was most proud of being a father to Brooke, his daughter. Ryan will be missed by all those that knew him, and the laughter he shared. He is survived by his daughter, Brooke Bowen; his siblings, Danny Jr., Sherrie, James & John; and many friends. A visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home from 12 noon to 2 pm with the service to honor Ryan’s life to follow at 2 pm. The interment will take place at Medway Cemetery.
