Ruth E. Palmer

Ruth E. Palmer age 94 of New Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born the daughter of August & Elnora (Hughes) Mucha on March 28, 1930, in Wheelersburg, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Palmer; 2 brothers Lloyd & Harold Mucha.  Ruth is survived by her beloved daughters Lynn Burcham, & Mona (Lee) Frederick – Skidmore; 5 grandsons Jason (Alisha) Burcham, Nathaan (Ashley) Burcham, Ryan Frederick, Michael (Cathy) Frederick, & Daniel (Marina) Frederick; great-grandchildren Aleni, J.J., Jake, Ethaan, Gabby, Nicholas, Blake, Michael, & Gabriel.  Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Ruth was a hardworking mother & took great pride in raising her children, later in life she babysat many children in our area.  She was a charter member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in New Carlisle, later after the church closed, she was a longtime member of Arise in Christ Lutheran Church in Donnelsville.  Ruth will be remembered as an excellent cook & homemaker. Her daughters remember fondly the homemade fudge she made during the holidays, along with homemade noodles, & the gravy that no one can duplicate.  A private funeral & burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME.    Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.trostelchapman.com
