HOWARD, Ruth 81, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016. She was born June 9, 1934 in New Carlisle, Ohio the daughter of the late Ohmer & Goldie (Bell) Goings. She is survived by her husband, Bill Howard; children, Timothy Howard, Cindy (Cloyd) McIver; two grandchildren, Cloyd Jr. (Bethanie) & Jessica; great grandchildren, Hunter, Austin & Mackenzie McIver; two brothers, Eugene & Robert; a sister, Rose Ann (Richard) Persin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandy; great granddaughter, Haylee; two sisters, Betty Martin, Mary Ellen Erman; two brothers, William R. & Charles Goings. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday February 8, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday in the funeral home.
