Roy Lee Price

Roy Lee Price was born August 10, 1937 in Covington, KY. The Lord called him home October 23, 2016 ending a lengthy battle with Alzheimer. Roy was preceded in death by his mom and dad Callie (Reed) and Charles H. Price, his mother Ruby F. (Padgett) Price Weiner; brothers Sidney H. Price, John M. Price, Charles A. Price and Harold (Hank) R. Price; sisters M. Louise Kirk and Donna S. Letney. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Alice M.(Taylor) Price; daughter, Rebecca D Massengale and husband Leon; son, Roy E. (Gene) Price and wife Debbie; three brothers, Kenneth D. Price, Thomas E. Price, and Raymond E. (Joe) Price; two sisters Helen L. Stephens and Katherine M. Hasty; four granddaughters, Megan R. (Bowman) Miles, E. Deneen Bowman, Kristen A. (Bowman) Singleton and Kaylee M. Price; eight great-grandchildren, Melissa R. Miles, Christopher J. Miles, Dustin E. Miles Jr, Curtis E. (Gene) Oaks, Cadence M. Bowman, Alice N. Mowery, Kourtney M. Singleton and Connor L. Singleton; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Roy was a member of Medway Baptist Church in Medway, OH. In 1955 he graduated from Holmes High School of Covington, Ky. He served four years in the United States Air Force. After 38 years as a senior service technician, he retired from Mosler Safe Company. A memorial service will be held at TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, in New Carlisle, OH on Thursday, Nov 3, 2016 at 6:00 PM, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 4:00 PM.
