Rosie N. Foles

NEW CARLISLE — Rosie N. Foles, 83, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015.

The daughter of the late Hansford & Rosa Hawkins, she was born May 20, 1932 in Bracken County, Kentucky.

She had a successful career waitressing and retired from the Tavernette Restaurant in Medway, Ohio.

She enjoyed fishing, line dancing, playing cards, and traveling with her friends and family.

She is survived by a son, Douglas & and his wife Martha Gerlach, a step-daughter, Debi & her husband Bruce Renfro, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and her sister Annabelle Black.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Neil Gerlach and second husband, Lavon Foles.

Visitation for Rosie will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Medway Cemetery.
