Rose Marie Tromp

Rose Marie Tromp, 90, of New Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was born May 19, 1934, in Big Run, WV, the daughter of the late Norman and Grace LeeMasters. Rose was a longtime hostess at many area restaurants, including The Mill, Mel-o-Dee Restaurant, and the Tavernette. She is survived by her children Edward (Robyn) Silves, Joann (Phil) Spradlin, Dave Tromp, Jeff (Lisa) Tromp, and Bruce (Mike Owens) Tromp; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Rose is preceded in death by her former husband Leslie Tromp; 4 sisters; and 5 brothers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 12-1:30pm with a time for sharing memories beginning at 1:30pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
