Rosemary Poole

Rosemary Poole, 77, of Springfield passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 in her home. She was born June 9, 1939 in Springfield the daughter of Merrill and Eva (Bennett) Dunfee. Rosemary was a 1957 graduate of Springfield High School and retired from Pediatrics Associates with over thirty years of service. She was a member of the Union Club, Eagles and Moose Lodge. Rosemary is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years Carl H. Poole; three children Randy Poole, Tonja Elberfeld and Chad (Dawn Cromwell) Poole, all of Springfield; two brothers Paul (Doris) Dunfee of Titusville, FL, and Mike (Gwen) Dunfee of Springfield; four grandchildren Nicholas, Brandi and Chasen Poole, and Jessica Elberfeld; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; her dear friends of over forty years from Card Club; and her little puppy "Angel". She is preceded in death by her brother Ralph Dunfee and sister Carol Dunfee. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 7 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Rosemary’s life will be Thursday at 7:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Bill Blain officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Anti-Cancer Institute.
