News Death Notice
LINGO, E. Rose 78, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. She was born July 25, 1937 in Peebles, OH, the daughter of Homer and Essie White. Rose was a member of Possum Road Church of God. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ronald J. Lingo, Sr.; three brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her children Ronald Lingo, Jr., Beverly (David) Trollinger and Tony (Sheri) Lingo; a brother Bill (Chris) White; sister Ann Paul; grandchildren Andrea (Brien) Jackson, Sarah (Nick) Gernert, Dalton Lingo and Breanne Lingo; great-grandchildren Audrey and Katelynn Gernert and Alec Jackson; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 1:30 PM at the cemetery.
