Ronni M. Mccarty

McCarty, Ronni Michelle 39, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016, after losing a hard-fought battle with addiction. She was born in Springfield on November 3, 1976, a daughter of Ron McCarty and Jodie (Cook) Gudorf. Ronni attended Shawnee High School and Clark State Community College. She had a deep love for her family and friends and will always be remembered for her fun-loving personality and her deep need to stay connected. Ronni is survived by her greatest treasures, her children, Dakota (Christine Shaefer) and Madison Rife, parents, Ron McCarty and Jodie (John) Gudorf, grandparents, Gene Cook and Jean (Dawson) Beeker, sisters, Mandy McCarty-Baker and Tracy (Mike) Patrick, nieces & nephews, Dillon, Hunter, Scott (Jenna), Connor, and Riley, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her cherished grandmother, Julia McCarty. The family thanks all of their close friends who stood by their side in support over the years. Without each of you they would not be as strong as they are today. While they are sad to see her go, they are relieved that her struggle is over and she is now at peace and without pain. Services to honor Ronni will be Tuesday at 7:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with a gathering beginning at 5:00PM.
