Ronald A. Pheanis

Ronald A. Pheanis, 74, of New Carlisle passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017. He was born in Richmond, IN, on February 27, 1943, the son of the late Richard Pheanis and Mary Louise (Tharp) Bradway. Ron had a lifetime love of flying model airplanes and was a member of several organizations affiliated with model airplanes. He was a loving father and grandfather. Ron is preceded in death by his wife Nancy; daughter Marsha Ellis; and brothers Michael and Richard Pheanis. He is survived by his daughters Heidi VanHoose and April Clark; sisters Robin (Cindy) Davis, Danna (Marcus) Johnson and Jackie (Kenneth) Isbell; grandchildren Christopher and Leah Bowling, and Corrina Bell; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Ron will be Saturday at 12:00 PM in the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning one hour prior to services.
