Ronald Lee Brubaker

Ronald Lee Brubaker, 79, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. He was born March 15, 1945, in Troy, OH, the son of the late Robert and Edith (Peacock) Brubaker. Ron was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a woodworker and a carpenter. Ron worked as a Janitor for several schools and YMCA in Ohio, Arizona and Florida. He also managed the Women’s Club of Phoenix for several years. Ron is survived by his children Shari (Keith) Brimhall, Robert (Karen) Brubaker and Sarah Gamel; sister Sylvia Crowe; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Shannon “Kelly” Brubaker; sisters Sue Farrar and Cheryl Olwin; and grandson Richard “Ricky” Gamel, Jr. Visitation will be held Monday, September 30, 2024, from 1-2pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, OH 45344, with a graveside immediately following at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 W. National Rd., New Carlisle, OH 45344.
