Robin L. Murphy

Robin Lee Murphy, 69, born into this world on November 3rd, 1955, to Rogers & Carol Hockman, left her earthly body after a lengthy but courageously fought illness on March 27th, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, father, and mother-in-law Carl & Dorothy Murphy, as well as two brothers-in-law and their wives, Robert & Bruna Murphy and Donald & Gloria Murphy. Also, and most importantly, proceeding her in death are her infant son Angel and one unborn child both of which she has patiently waited for 30+ years to hold and shower with her love. Upon her arrival to Heaven, she was welcomed by one more precious unborn child, baby girl Landis, for whom she was just as excited to meet.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart, best friend, and loving husband of 48 years, Dennis. Their daughter Heather (fiancé Kevin Earles) and one of her most precious gifts on earth, grandson Konnor.

She is also survived by her two youngest nieces, Katie (Daniel) Blankenship and Nikki (Kevin) Landis with whom she loved as if they were her own. The girls gave her five additional babies to love and adore, Addison & Cadence Blankenship and Dylan, Ireland, & Reagan Landis. Also surviving her in death is brother-in-law Gary Murphy (Donna), and sister-in-law Helen (Charles) James.

Born an only child, her wish was to have a large family to love and care for. That wish was granted when she and Dennis wed on July 16th, 1977. She was appreciative and honored to be given the gift of such a large family which included 13 additional nieces & nephews along with their families. While it was an honor for her to have had such a large extended family, it was actually our honor to have been loved so fiercely by such an amazing and generous woman.

Death is not her ending; it is her heavenly beginning, and her love and the memories created will last for generations.
