Robert Henry Van Dyne

Robert Henry Van Dyne, 67, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017. He was born October 6, 1949 in Sabina, OH, the son of the late Thoburn G. and Dorothy E. Van Dyne. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during Vietnam. He later retired from Navistar. Most importantly Robert was a Christian, attending several churches throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Dolores Lee; and sister-in-law Jo Van Dyne. Robert is survived by his sisters Dorletta (Steve) Grant and Dorletha (John) Kendig; brothers Buddy (Patricia) Van Dyne and Oakley Van Dyne; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
