Robert V. Griffeth

Griffeth, Jr., Robert V., 69 of Springfield passed away July 14, 2020 in his residence. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 10, 1951, the son of Robert and Elouise Griffeth, Sr. He was a 1969 graduate of Springfield High and Robert was a security guard and retired from Howard Paper Mill with 20 years of service when they closed. He was a proud fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed cars and racing. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his children Shawnta Griffeth, Alyce (Mike) Matthews, Jr., Dottie McIlroy and Ronald McIlroy; grandchildren Mick (Dolly), Cherokee, Austin Matthews, Kiki and Malcum McIlroy; great-grandchildren Chandler, Jocelyn, Alexander and McKenzie; a host of "adopted grandchildren"; best friend Becky Griffeth and special friend Karen Troller; and a host of family and friends. Services to honor Robert will be Friday, July 24, 2020 at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Jackie Mounts officiating.
