Rita B. Horn

Rita B. Horn, 80, of New Carlisle, joined her husband in heaven on Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was born July 12, 1943, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Belle Marsden. Rita was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon P. Horn; grandson Dustin L. Horn; sister Mary Geitz; brothers Charles Marsden, Gerald Marsden, Larry Marsden, and Thomas Marsden. Rita is survived by her children Tammy (Greg) Woodrum, Keith (Sherry) Horn, Lisa (Larry) Whalen, Darryl (Tracey) Horn, and Randy (Honey) Horn; grandchildren Dallas, Christopher, Ashley, Brandon, Christina, Brenton (Betsy), Crystal (Aaron), Brandi (Patrick), Bradlee, Chelsee, Charlotte, Bethany (Zach), and Amberli; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters Linda Devoe and Bonnie Ewing; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, from 10am-11am with the funeral to honor Rita beginning at 11:00am at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar and Fraley funeral home.
