Ricky H. Johnson

Ricky H. Johnson, 62, of New Carlisle, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. He was born June 3, 1961, in Dayton, the son of Homer Johnson and Celia Carnes. Ricky was a member of the Crystal Lakes Moose Lodge 2464 and VFW Post 9684 Medway. He loved making his rounds and signing the books. Rick loved spending time with his friends and family. He especially loved riding his Harley to Indian Lake. Rick was always the life of the party. Rick is survived by his children Shane (Chelsea) Johnson, Dylan (Erin Donovan) Johnson and Shyann (fiancé Aaron Lynch) Johnson; mother Celia Carnes; brother David (Ellen) Blanton; sister Karen (Steve Webb) Johnson; grandchildren Kaylee, Ryker, Maci and Callie; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and step-mother Homer and Rosemary Johnson; brothers Dennis and Stanley Johnson; and nephew Austin Ford. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 4:00pm at VFW Post 9684 Medway, 1587 N. Lake Rd., New Carlisle, OH 45344.
